The No. 40 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series. R was one of Cadillac's factory GTP entries in the 2025 IMSA season. Jordan Taylor and Louis Delétraz were the full-season drivers, with Alex Lynn and Kamui Kobayashi joining for endurance events including the Rolex 24 At Daytona.

At the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona, the No. 40 Cadillac was forced to retire following an incident during the race. Despite its early exit, the car remains an important part of Cadillac and Wayne Taylor Racing's 2025 return to the IMSA GTP category.
